The last frost of the year
It was early in the morning, the sun had barely risen, and I was getting restless. The light outside was soft and hazy, and I knew I would regret staying in. But I also knew I did not have much time.
I wore some warm clothes, put on my winter boots, grabbed the camera and ran out of the door. The grass was that kind of greenish gray you only get after a cold night. There was a very thin mist that could not have risen more than a few feet before it melted under the warmth of the sunrise. I started pedalling, not knowing yet where I was going. The air was crisp and it hurt my face. I decided to take a turn. Instead of into the city, I rode to the outskirts.
Tall grasses and shrubs lined a canal, where geese and ducks had just started scavenging for something to eat. And I did the only thing one can do in a place like this. Start taking photos.
Please, let me know which one was your favourite in the comments. There is one second part to this post I will release in a couple of days. I still need to figure out how to do the Subscribe button, but when I do, please do subscribe if you enjoyed the post. I am planning to make a post once a week. Time is always limited in the life of a parent or of someone who is trying to juggle 3 jobs at a time.
Enjoy your week and see you soon.
